The is an abundance of things to do and see in the area surrounding A Little Haven. The list below may give you some idea to the range of activities available in the area.

Golf
There are a large number of golf courses within an easy drive of A Little Haven. Not least is the Rosapenna Golf Links located only 2.5km away, which boasts two of the finest links courses in the country, the Old Tom Morris Course and the new Sandy Hills Course as well a driving range and Pitch and Putt. There are additionally courses located in Portsalon, Letterkenny, Ballyliffen, Dunfanaghy, and Ballybofey all within an hour or less drive of A Little Haven

Walking
There are numerous places where you can take a leisurely stroll or more energetic walk. Tramore beach is one of the finest beaches in the area and is popular with walkers and runners. Take a walk around the Atlantic Drive, this scenic coast road provides fabulous views of the rugged coast line and some of the stunning and more secluded beaches. Glenveagh National Park and Ards Forest Park offer an opportunity to see some of the local wildlife as well as offering fabulous views.

Mountain Walking/Climbing A Little Haven is located near the Derryveagh Mountains which boasts over 37 mountains in the range. All of these are located within an hours drive. Errigal (the highest in the Derryveagh range) and Muckish Mountains are the most popular, but depending on your ability you will find plenty of options.

Surfing, Windsurfing and Kitesurfing
There are numerous beaches offering various conditions from the beginner through to those who are very competent. Nearby Tramore beach offers good surfing conditions at various places along its length depending on your ability. Windsurfers and Kitesurfers are also known to frequent this area. Downings and Marble Hill beaches are well known for windsurfing and more lately kitesurfing. Downings especially offers ideal conditions for the beginner to intermediate sailor. About an hours drive from A Little Haven is Magheroarty Beach which can offer some of the best wave conditions around. A little further a field is Bundoran which can offer some of the best waves in Europe with some high profile competitions being held there.

Fishing
There are numerous options for fishing available for both the sea and river angler. Take one of the fishing charters out for a deep sea fishing trip, use your own boat to fish in one of the local bays or go river fishing in one of the local rivers. The Lackagh river is known for its salmon and trout.

Diving
The diving conditions in the local area are superb, with good visibility and plenty to see doing scenic, wreck or drift dives there is nothing to stop you getting wet in the under water world. There are two dive centres in the local area which can provide equipment and training (please see the links page).

Jet Skiing/Water Skiing
Both Sheephaven and Mulroy Bays can provide ideal water skiing conditions and with boat ramps available at both it is easy to launch your boat or jet ski. It is also possible to drive onto Downings beach which is popular with Jet skiers. Please observe local rules on where to use jet skis.

Drives
For a more relaxing past time there are numerous drives and places to visit. Take a drive around the Atlantic Drive with fabulous views of the local area. See some of the rugged landscape of the Derryveagh mountains. The Inishowen 100 is a 100 mile (160km) signposted drive around the Inishowen peninsula offering some fabulous views of this stunning part of Ireland.

There are numerous locations in which you can drink and dine depending on your mood and budget. To name a few:
